Let down by poor cliping materials.
This pair of ski trousers looks and feels great and the price is fantastic. I also found them very warm so i think that a bottom baselayer is not necessary. The problem is with the quality of the Snap Buttons used for both the waist band and the bottom rubber band that stops the snow from getting in the ski boot. They both came apart right after the first second that i used them! I am a huge fun of Columbia and it is the first time i have such problems. Maybe better quality control is needed at the Chinese Snap Button factory that makes them. Be careful with sizing as Columbia uses American standards so their L is European XL and so on. Same goes with jackets and shirts.

Picture a little deceptive
When the pant arrived I thought that the wrong ones had been sent, in the phot the material looks more like a softer material say cotton but is a standard polyester. That said the quality is good and I would say they are good for the money, you can spend a lot more for the best quality
