This is not only extremely warm but windproof, too, courtesy of the super-lightweight, high tear-strength STORMLOCK shell fabric.High tear-strength and low weight are the key characteristics of this windproof material. The windproofing comes from the particularly tight weave and ripstop reinforcement threads. The best buy I have made for a long time
I researched the net and local retailers and decided that I really liked the look of this coat. It was shaped at the waist, and had a padded hood which did not have fur round it. It is the warmest I have ever been - even in the snowy weather we have had. I like the length as it keeps my legs warm without being restrictive. I raved about it so much that my daughter also bought the same coat (different size and colour) and she loves wearing hers also.
