Great high spec technical product at a bargain price
been researching this item since deciding I needed a higher specification waterproof jacket for the many "wet" weather mountain bike rides I seem to get into these days (great british weather!)
Wanted a normal "jacket" as opposed to a bike specific cut jacket which tend to come without the hood unless you pay silly money. Found this in the sports direct shop and it fit okay snug in the arms (may prove tight with a fleece underneath)while a little looser round the chest (that may just be me tho?) the hood is quite large with a permanent "peak" in place, covers my rear when in bike sitting position. It's very vibrant in the electric blue which is perfect for biking (yes mr car driver see me now!!!!!!) and the vents in the large side pockets worked great on my long ride round Dalby forest in the drizzle (for 4 hours) the performance was fantastic as I had started off with a windproof softshell underneath the jacket but ended up swapping that for just baselayer and the jacket. kept...

Excellent outdoor jacket
This jacket feels to be made to the same standard as the old Karrimor equipment before Sports Direct bought the company. In recent years I think the quality of some equipment from Karrimor dropped but I am please to say the British company appears to be making quality equipment once again.

Like with all manufactures they offer a range of products to suit all budgets and the quality will vary depending on the price but with their high end products like this jacket the quality is hard to beat.

I bought this to use on the Three peak challenge, it excelled it's self in the harsh conditions it's really breathable due to the eVent technology and managed to keep me perfectly dry in the rain. The fact that there is no storm flaps over the zips concerned me but the waterproof zips did their job in keeping out the rain.
