Bought these because they were cheap, and mostly plain coloured (black) to match a blue + white Nalini jersey bought at the same time, which matches a blue / white / black Giro helmet, which as all amateur club cyclists know, colour matching is more important than how fast you can ride, right?

I didn't expect Assos levels of comfort, but some comfort wold have been welcome. The padding is woefully thin, doesn't breathe particulalry well meaning that after an hour or so, the dreaded crotch burn sets in and that's it for the day. I only now use them for when I'm on the turbo trainer, so anything over an hour is nigh on an impossible occurrence.
