I bought this jacket some 18 months ago in the Paramo shop in London.

Possibly the most helpful staff I have ever come across - nothing was too much trouble and the merits of the various items were discussed in detail by people who really knew the product.

The jacket itself is fantastic - its kept me warm and snug during snow, rain and wind and is long enough to compensate for not having waterproof trousers.

I will be buying more of this type of clothing !

Hi went to whalley warm and dry to purchase my halcon jacket,they had a 20% discount offer on.
Took it home went walking up on the moors at glossop in November so very cold.Just had a tshirt on and a flees under the coat started the walk it started to rain.So i put on my gore-tex rain pants on the rain never stopped,got back to the car four hours later my top half of my body was warm and dry but my legs were wet.
My partner had a gore-tex jacket on and it was damp inside and cold.
So went back to the paramo shop and brought the wife a halcon to and velez pants.
We now use nothing else, tried event gore-tex not bad but not as good as paramo.
The only downside is the price but i do think you get wot you pay for.
I use my halcon jacket and pants all the the time as i walk a lot for my photography.
The jacket has plenty of pockets hand warmers and zip vents on the arms.
Love the jacket has never let in water been in some really bad weather.
