I have ordered this for my daughter who suffers in the cold due to poor circulation. I already have one that my son, who is in the army, gave me. Time & again I have used it in very cold weather and can say it has never failed to keep me very warm. I've not long purchased a black Snugpak jacket and it is without a doubt the best winter jacket i've bought, full stop. The innards are a lightweight mix taken from their legendary sleeping bags and having owned one of those for many years i know this is a good thing.

The jacket is very light on. You'd be forgiven for thinking on first purchase that you'd made a mistake and it won't be warm enough. Today, in 1C in London it was mighty toasty. In fact on the tubes i had to take it off. However the next plus is due to it's design it will fold into a small ball and fit quite easily into a rucksack or messenger bag (or whatever is your bag of choice) without any difficulty. (It does come with its own stuff sack).

Also in a shower it simply balled the rain on the outer layer and kept me dry. Even soaking wet these things work. I've been...
