Good value, stylish and practical
I wanted to find a jacket which was not from the mainstream - seems like everyone is wearing North Face or Berghaus - but which was also high quality, preferably Goretex or equivalent, and could be worn both day to day as well as for more serious winter sports. This jacket fits the bill perfectly: it is well made, stylish and has an excellent fleece lining which is both lightweight and warm. The only niggle I would have is that the zips on the jacket are not terribly robust and a bit fiddly - not easy to open and close with ski gloves - hence my docking a star, else it would have been worth the full 5 out of 5.

Bad design, not very well made
This is nice jacket by Lafuma, however, it is badly designed and poorly made. Compared with a similar jacket I have owned for the past six years also by Lafuma (which I would give 5 out of 5), this one is worse in pretty much every way.

I bought this jacket after owning a similar jacket by Lafuma for about six years. I purchased this one in the same size as the last one, but as it turned out, the size (small) is now too small for me (and I have not grown in the last six years as I am 28). So returned the small and ordered the medium size instead, only to be disappointed again with regards to the size. The neck and arms are very tight compared with my previous jacket and after having gone up a size, I thought I would measure the difference in width of the arms between my old size small and this jacket in size medium. The results were shocking: the old one has arms of width 21.5cm (measured 30cm up from the wrist), whereas the new one has arm width of just 18.5cm (measured...
