As my American friends would say, it is AWESOME!
And yes, yes it is! :D One of the things I really like about Columbia clothing, is that they mean what they say in sizing. As an XS, it fits a small UK size 6 (up to 24in waist, I'd say), and the sleeves are rather tight-fitting and long. It is absolutely gorgeous in Red Element, and really soft and plushy inside, and a definite must-have on any exploratory trip where nights might just get cold, rainy or windy. Had passed "blowing-through" test with flying colours, did repel the spray-bottle water (am not sure if I am the only one who does it or knows what that means, but thought I'd share anyway). Overall, would definitely recommend it, as it looks and feels warmer, more movement-friendly and snug than my Trangoworld softshell at triple the price that I paid for Columbia. But then again, I have not tested it cross-country skiing at -25C yet, where TW coped magnificently...

Great value for money
Love this jacket - true to size, I take UK size 8-10 on top and the small fits perfectly. The fitted shape moves well when on, there's no restriction. The red element colour is as deep a shade as the online picture suggests, really lovely. Sleeves are a bit too long, but they get pushed up no problem. Highly versatile piece of kit, there are plenty of features in this jacket for your money, (and it has the often elusive in women's jackets inner security pocket) making it suitable for all my outdoor activities, and it also looks good with jeans! I've had so much use out of mine already, I don't know what I did without it. Highly recomended.
